Crista Gonzalez, MA, LEP, PPS
Licensed Educational Psychologist
Therapist. Evaluator. Advocate for Neurodiverse Youth.
Compassionate, Neurodiversity-Affirming Support for
Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults
With over 20 years of experience, I provide therapeutic and assessment services that center the voice, autonomy, and emotional well-being of each child and adolescent I work with. My approach is rooted in trust, respect, and the belief that every young person deserves a space where they feel safe, heard, and empowered to be their authentic self.
At Bridge to Education, I create a nurturing environment where children and teens can explore their feelings, understand their challenges, and develop effective strategies for coping with life’s stressors. Whether facing anxiety, depression, frustration, or low self-worth, my goal is to support youth in building emotional resilience and a positive self-concept. Additionally, I am UCLA Peers certified and provide social skills groups and individualized social skills training.
My Background
I am a California Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentialed School Psychologist, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and training in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring school psychologists and mental health professionals in both educational and private practice settings. I am passionate about bridging the gap between clinical support and educational advocacy to ensure holistic care for children and families.

What You Can Expect
My work is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and clinical expertise. I honor the unique ways neurodivergent individuals experience the world and support them in developing meaningful goals that reflect their values, not just external expectations.
Therapy and assessment are collaborative processes. I work closely with families, schools, and allied professionals to create plans that nurture academic success, emotional growth, and personal empowerment.
Whether we’re navigating challenges related to ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, or life transitions, I’m here to support youth in understanding themselves and building tools that lead to confidence, connection, and self-advocacy.
If you’re seeking thoughtful, personalized support for your child or teen, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can create a path forward that celebrates their strengths and supports their growth—academically, emotionally, and socially.
