Counseling and Therapy
In-person and online individual therapy for children, teens and young adults. We believe everyone has the ability to overcome obstacles with effective, evidence-based approaches. We start by listening to what is working and what is not. We then create a customized treatment plan unique to your child’s needs and goals. Our team of licensed educational psychologists draw on years of experience and creative approaches that make a difference. We offer traditional talk therapy as well as art therapy and play therapy. We also offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Educational and Neuropsychological Assessments
An accurate assessment of a child’s learning profile, processing style and diagnostic status facilitates access to appropriate services within school systems. It provides parents and teachers with strategies that match the child’s strengths to ensure a positive learning environment. Success breeds success. As your child discovers they can learn, your child will become engaged with the process and ready to tackle educational challenges. Once identified, learning disabilities (dyslexia), Autism, ADHD, Behavioral Disorders, and Language Delays can be approached with strategies that enable children to thrive with their peers in typical learning environments.
Social Skills Groups
Social skills groups are small groups (typically two to four children) led by an educational therapist who facilitates interaction with others their age. We can help children learn conversational, friendship, and problem-solving skills.
Advocacy/Collaboration
We believe in collaborative methods to resolving disagreements between families and schools. We feel that positive communication, understanding, and collaboration is the best approach when working with families and the educational system. For many parents new to the world of special education, figuring out what you know and don’t know is half the battle. We provide valuable support, information and resources to assist families navigating the special education system.
Speech/Language
Evaluation and Diagnosis: SLPs assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
- Treatment and Therapy: They develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication and swallowing needs.

- Speech Sound Production: Addressing articulation, phonological, apraxia, and dysarthria.
- Language: Helping with receptive and expressive language skills, including aphasia in adults.
- Social Communication: Improving pragmatic skills, such as taking turns and understanding social cues.
- Voice: Addressing voice quality problems, such as hoarseness or inappropriate pitch.
